Hello. My name is Jeff White. I am the founder of Wellspring Counseling Group. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I've been a practicing psychotherapy for nearly a decade. I earned my B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community, first responders, adults and adolescents. I have additional training in psychiatry, neuroscience, child therapy, mindfulness, family therapy and somatic psychology.
I strive to make therapy approachable and practical for everyone. I’m a therapist that is easy to talk to and down to earth. I create an environment for my clients to unpack, heal, learn & grow. I help my clients discover new skills & tools so that they can better cope with the ups and downs of life. My style is warm, open and nonjudgmental. My approach to therapy is diverse. It draws upon disciplines ranging from chemistry to yoga.
I have successfully helped my clients with issues ranging from: anger, stress, communication issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, medical issues, divorce, PTSD, disabilities, ADHD, learning disabilities, life transitions, mood disorders, infidelity, body image issues, suicidal ideation, self-harm, sexual assault, domestic violence, eating disorders, personality disorders, relationship conflicts, parent/child conflicts, addiction, and sex/intimacy issues.
